I am happy and content because I think I am.

About This Quote

The truth is that we are never truly happy and content with the way things are. We always try to change or improve ourselves so things can be better. We do this because we know that our life could be better. We have the power to make it better and to be happier, so we do so.

The main problem with this statement is that it is too simplistic and doesn’t take into account the emotion of fear. In order for us to become happy and content, we must face our fears without getting caught up in them. We must also accept where we are at as long as it isn’t a place of pain.
